About Me

Biography

Ever since I was a kid, I've always been the creative and artsy person in my family. But I have always struggled choosing a passion I wanted to pursue in the professional world. One of the main art mediums I've sticked to the most has been graphic design.

High school electives helped me discover and develop my skills in Adobe Photoshop, editing images and creating scenes in photography class. Thanks to my work and experience collected in high school, I was honored to be working as a graphic designer for the University of Arizona's College of Nursing and Fostering Success program. During those 4 years, it was amazing being able to design branded marketing to share with thousands of people across Arizona. I learned to be versatile using different applications such as the Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, and Procreate for these projects. My time at the U of A also helped me better understand how to build and manage a brands, and how to encourage and lead collaborative efforts with teammates. And now, I get to use all of these lessons and my knowledge in helping grow the constantly-evolving Nopality Magazine as their Art Director, as we continue discovering the brand and bringing a spotlight to Asian American communities and culture in Texas!

Although I continue to explore other creative artforms such as illustration, animation, and painting, I've been proud of the work I hope to continue creating through graphic design with brands both big and small.

But within my busy life being a designer, I've found enjoyment in activities that exercise my brain, keeping my mind sharp in a productive space. These activities include puzzles, role-playing fighting games, and curating personal playlists on Spotify for any occasion I need music.
