Within my role as the magazines' art director, one of my main responsibilities was to help create and maintain their brand throughout their website and social media platforms. During my time as a fellow creative, below are some of the works I've created to help evolve and develop the storytelling throughout Instagram posts, YouTube thumbnails, and more!

Meet the Team

This was a very exciting project for me because I got to create a new series/template to introduce the different departments of the magazine to our audiences.

Using the many useful tools and abilities Adobe Illustrator has, I was able to make a design that was fun, welcoming, and appealing so audiences can purposefully swipe to see the humans behind these works.

Nopality's Second Logo

As the brand has continued evolving, we felt it was necessary to update our secondary logo to better fit the aesthetic and nature of the main logo. This was accomplished using Adobe Illustrator, creating multiple variations of the same logo to be versatile throughout our projects.

JONAVI - YouTube Thumbnail

We're creating more video content to help bring a bigger spotlight to Texan artists and cultures. In order to feature this artist, JONAVI, on our page, I made sure to keep it simple and to the point of who this video was created for, while also keeping it within the ever-evolving branding style we're continuing to discover.

Tours in Texas

One of our current series through our socials includes our "Upcoming Tours" posts where we feature any relevant or interesting artists that are passing by Texas that month during their tour. Because of this, audiences have a better understanding what our future content may contain and give a spotlight to some of the smaller artists that may not have a large audience in Texas.

2025 Nopality Wrapped

To give a real sense that this is a magazine, and be able to stand out from other photo-based content in our profile, I took inspiration from other magazine formats to give a nice sneak peek of the posts' content and hook viewers eyes to continue swiping.

I wanted to visually share how tremendous our efforts had been from April to December of 2025 through our coverage numbers and locations, while also continuing to take advantage of the magazine/scrapbook/doodle aesthetic of the Nopality brand.
